For the artist this is the foulest of temptations.  When times are tough we might start looking for ways to sell more art by producing it fast and selling it as cheap. Bad idea. We are after something that is truly impossible to define and cheap disrupts the journey. Nothing about the sacrifices needed to create a poetic piece of art comes without labor and cost.
